Hamilton, Montana

Every now and then you wonder what is wrong with people. (Well, in my case you probably wonder continuously, but that's another story.)
Here's an abvious drunk doing the most stupid thing he could possibly think of- and paid the ultimate price. There's a reason shooters hand each generation such adages as, "Guns and booze don't mix."
Personally, I'm more than happy that officer Ross Jessop was uninjured, declared justified in this event that has probably seriously changed more than just his and the perp's lives. Though this happened in April, the message is as relevant now and maybe more so in the future.

Enjoy.
Bless God, God bless.

HAMILTON - A coroner's jury has found a Hamilton police officer was justified in shooting a 36-year-old man to death after he opened fire on the officer during a late-night traffic stop in January.

The jury heard five hours of testimony Tuesday, which included a video that showed Raymond Davis of Hamilton pointing a .41-Magnum pistol inches from Officer Ross Jessop's face and pulling the trigger. The click of the revolver's hammer hitting a previously fired round was audible in the recording.

Davis fired a second time as Jessop fell back and drew his own weapon. Jessop fired his pistol 14 time into Davis' vehicle as it sped away. One round hit Davis in the back and he died at the scene.

Witnesses testified that Davis had spent the earlier part of the evening drinking and fighting with his girlfriend.

  6. The guy got what was coming to him. If you shoot at someone then you need to be ready to be shot at. I think the police officer was justified in this shooting. Because if I was in his spot I would have done the same thing.

  7. Give the oficer a free trip to Disneyland, or at least a stuffed carnival animal. We need more officer Jessop's and far fewer Ray Davis's and the far left organizations that keep them on the streets.
