Curiously Silent...

Thinking about the past couple of years today was enlightening in that what is- and is not- happening these days has confirmed so much about peoples' beliefs.
Mostly, I'm talking about all those 'nay-sayers' from two years ago who were so very adamant that, "Obama won't take our guns". Strangely silent these days, I imagine they're hiding in the weeds, afraid to show their faces and be told, "I toldja so". How well I recall the many arguments - almost war-like vehemence - they held toward any who made comment about not trusting him, because/though he has always been anti-firearm. From the first post anyone made that offended their dem-lib-consciousness to the very last posting after the election, these people were so ready to defend their racist viewpoint, to violently defend with their last breath this empty suit they wanted to become President, if for no other reason than to prove to themselves they weren't too prejudiced to vote for a black man.
"The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto..." So reads the Reuters article headline.
In the past, such as when G.W. Bush was President (Oh, gosh-golly-gee, a Republican! Oh! No!), the United States has always refused to enter into any kind of arms trade agreement. And the United States has always held to every nation having a vote or veto.
Now, with U-no-who acting as Presidential as a Communist can, we have Hillary Clinton agreeing to sign onto this United Nations disarmament proposal. Of course, it's being touted under "controlling international trade in firearms", but we know better.
"...Consensus is needed to ensure the widest possible support for the Treaty and to avoid loopholes in the Treaty that can be exploited by those wishing to export arms irresponsibly," Clinton said in a written statement..." Of course not. We just can't have gun show loopholes showing up on the international scene. How abhorrent! (Just so you know: that's sarcasm on my part!)
An interesting point about the people objecting to this treaty are- get this: Israel, China and Russia. (I know: swallow my tongue surprise!)
OK, enough about the article- you can read the rest here: http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSTRE59E0Q920091015
The whole reason for this is to ask a question, anyway, hopefully getting an answer from those lib-tards who so vociferously insisted that the Dark Lord wasn't after our guns. Seriously- how can he and his satanic horde control the populace unless they disarm us?
So my question is this...
"Do you people still doubt he wants to disarm Americans?"
Bless God, God bless.

Disarm Americans - Hahahahaha - only after the 9 BILLION rounds sold this year have been fired. Our founding fathers were not stupid, unlike the sorry bunch in Washington today, we have the RIGHT to bear arms. They better not even try - HUGE mistake if they do! They can have my weapon when it is empty!

  2. I am going to procure some more ammo. I've got a decent stash, but the way things are looking, it won't be enough. They can have my weapons when I've fired my last round, or they kill me, whichever comes first....

  5. It's just another example of something that the libs do very well: Take small, seemingly innocuous bites out of our rights, all as part of a long-term big-picture item. After a decade or two, the right is all but gone. They'll take bigger bites when the opportunity presents itself to say, "It's for the Children!" or "It's for the Public Good!"

Their long-term goal is to negate or remove the 2A. They can't just come out and say that right now because they know they'd have their asses handed to them.

So they chip away. We sign on to an arms control treaty that sounds so peaceful and sane. We retain our right to veto, blah, blah, blah, so Congress ratifies the treaty.

A few years pass, and the treat has an amendment that says it's dangerous - thus now illegal - for the citizens of the treaty countries to privately own guns. If you have a Congress aligned similarly to the one we've got now, they could sign off on it.

When a non-lib then challenges it on Constitutional grounds, it is pointed out that, in American law, new laws over-turn or supersede existing laws. That's been our way for 240+ years. 2A is just another law, right?

Now, it might not work the first time. But they'll keep at it, chipping away at the idea of private gun ownership until they get their way.

Don't pooh-pooh this idea. Just ask the people of Chicago and D.C. how they enjoy their guns... A little here, a little there, and suddenly they're gone.

  6. Sounds like the the DC crowd is getting a little fearful. Good...it's about time. This is just one more of the thousand reasons to vote out ever single one of them this year! Send every single politician in Washington to the unemployment line!

  7. We know that this will be ratified and signed by the fool in the WH. However enforcing it will be another little item that they had better think long and hard about. The only way they can do that is get the military involved and I think that most members will say NO to the order to disarm the citizens. then thier only option would be the blue helmets of the UN. That would be an invasion of our country. I swore an oath more then once to defend the Constitution. That oath has one expiration date, when I die. If God forbid that this happens they had better bring a very large number of body bags with them.
The fools in DC had better remember that this country was founded because the citizens had been pushed enough. We are at that point where we are ready to push back. Our first step is in November. I pray that that is all it takes to get this country back on the right course.

  9. That Reuters article was from 2009. Still no movement to see it through, yet. Then, it would have to be ratified by Congress. They only have until Nov. 2nd because a whole BUNCH of the Libs will be gone after that. Just saying. Semper Fi. Devildog in CO
