This pretty much sums it up....
"...The issues in Mexico are not our problem. If these drug cartels want guns, they’ll get them from anywhere in the world. This is media hype against the Constitution as always. Where’s the media hype over the FACT that over 400 kidnappings have occurred in Arizona by drug cartels coming OVER OUR BORDER? Sneaking in, across our border, invading people’s homes in the United States! Where’s the outrage over that? Now that’s our problem. I’d say this too, you want to save Mexican (and American) lives? Ok, secure the damn border!..."
"...Obama wants to declare himself like “Lincoln”? He might just might get his chance by kicking off the Second Civil War. It will be his administrations fault, not ours. Problem is, he wants this in the worst way. Why? Because then he’ll be able to suspend elections, declare martial law, and strip us of all remaining rights. Any crisis will be viewed as a way for the Government to seize more control and squash the people. No different than Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush and most of the Presidents before him starting with FDR. We can’t let this happen. We can’t let him have his crisis. However, it’s up to each of you to join in the fight, while you still can, to do it peaceably through our legislative process...."
A couple quotes from David Codrea's blog from an Email by Ron Bokelman.
And I agree. It's time we gun owners and Freedom of Speech lovers got our asses off the couch and did what we should do. Write. Raise hell. Carry placards, banners and revolutionary signs that tell the whole friggin world "I FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION!"
Too, it's time all of us speak up and kick that African asshole out of the White House and send him back where he belongs. If he isn't willing to follow the Constitution, I say "Send him to hell where he belongs!"
One thing that really gets me riled is that people from other countries are telling us to defend our rights, but guess who's listening? http://ferfal.blogspot.com/
Time for we Americans to grab the black bull by the horns and shake his ass.

I write, and write, and write some more.... All I ever get is a form letter response, if that..... Signs and banners, I dunno. I reckon my blog is my way of tryin' to wake the sheeple up, but the trolls don't ever "get it".... Common sense is in the minority (as was proven last November!). Methinks we're on our own....
ReplyDeleteThought provoking post! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDelete...i wright,e-mail,call and 'sign' the yard...at least i feel better, even if it doesn't effect real change...i am not a hypocrite,i practice what i preach(despite my feelings' that elections are a sham)i still vote...my Ron Paul signs stayed until the first week of january !?!?...good post Shy,the squeaky wheel gets the oil eh ?
ReplyDeleteFree speech is one the rights that my family has fought for in nearly every war that the US has had. We didn't do this for the sake of a traitorous redneck in Texas called "Mayberry" who advocates the violent overthrow of our Constitutional government and uses trolls as an excuse to stifle dissent. Yeah, it's his blog, but censorship is censorship whether it's public or private. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Trolls, indeed. If you can't defend your ideas, such as they are, perhaps your ideas are indefensible.
ReplyDeleteAnon9.03... my family has fought in every war America has had. I fully expect us to fight in the next one as well.
ReplyDeleteI don't see where Mayberry is advocating a violent overthrow of the government. Nor do I see him as a traitorous redneck: he is practicing his First Amendment right, as you are. He may rant at times and as I do, advocate the idea we may eventually have to fight the PTB, but this is what the Contitution says we must do, as did the Framers in their private correspondence.
When those PTB eliminate the Constitutional rights of every American CITIZEN (I do not consider illegals to be citizens, nor with any Constitutional rights), then they will have begun the war- not the people, but the gov't. The opening salvo may be from a Defender of the Constitution, be that as it may, but it will be on others' shoulders.
We may have another Ruby Ridge or Waco in some small rural home, a little burg or some larger city, regardless- it will be the right of every freedom loving Constitution believing American to come to the defense in one way or another. And come they will, armed and ready.
For myself, and all others, there is no desire to begin a war, to have to fight our countrymen. Only a fool would want to go to war.
As for the trolls: when they are calling a person names, denigrating ones manhood, making slutty comments about one's wife, then they are taking liberties with free speech they have no business doing. They should be censored. No man or woman should have to put up with that.
Of course, if we look at how the MSM and libs treated GWB, then whines and cries racism when the Dark Lord is assaulted in similar manner, then we must wonder who is truly on the side of free speech, who is really defending the Constitution.
As to defending ideas: the Constitution is an idea that speaks for itself and is well worth defending.
UGH! I could go on about this, must be time for another blog.
Thanks for stopping by- love the comments.

The legislative process is a farce in that it no longer works! The ballot box didn't work because of all the feel-good masses (estrogen-toxic women and feminized men) who voted for the O-Man’s cult of personality. Not that he had much competition with an out-of-touch puppet of the same corrupt and failed business and financial institutions, a man who ranked 894 of 899 in his class in Navy flight school. During the early-to-mid 1960s, he crashed twice and once collided with power lines. I guess it helped his flying career being that dad and granddad were both admirals!
ReplyDeleteThe soap box no longer works. I emailed both of my senators, as did tens of millions of other voters, urging them not to support the bailout. Both replied, eventually, stating a host of reasons they failed to carry out their duty in our representative democracy; the greater good, the big picture, institutions too big to fail. My local newspaper has all but eliminated letters to the editor, printing two, maybe three letters a few days a week. Most of them are either to support the popular political party in this area, whine about reducing the deer herd in a suburban development or to praise God. Most of their newsprint is now given to syndicated talking heads. Lawn signs (Ron Paul, Bob Barr, Libertarian Party) don’t work in an area where everyone votes for the party (as opposed to the individual) that their ancestors did; no thought required. Bumper stickers are a car stop waiting to happen for a cop with an agenda, such as the OKC cops who pulled over a motorist and confiscated an “Abort Obama” sign. He was then investigated until Secret Service said the sign was not a threat.
Usually I’m proactive. Not this time. I am content to sit back with the final box and wait until USA, Inc. does something incredibly stupid like martial law, mass arrests or begins to confiscate guns. Then let the games begin!
Amen, Samuel. It's coming. I give us six months at the outside.
